Created for the free-spirited, Island Imports by Harry was inspired by Harry Haslett’s journey of traveling around the world for six years with nothing but his backpack and a surfboard. During his travels, he discovered the iconic heritage wooden jewelry that was being created in the mountain villages of Bali and brought these pieces back with him to America where he started selling his jewelry to surf shops. 

‘Island Imports by Harry’ began as a family run business with the help of Harry’s mother as he traveled around the country in his grandfather’s old Chevy to sell the Balinese crafted jewelry to shops across the country. The company has grown from its humble beginnings and is now based in New York, and Harry continues to lead the company as President and Head Designer and the brand has expanded to include fashion jewelry.
